The United States of Africa Demands immediate Release of Victor Yeimo

Date: 16/05/2021

The United States of Africa demands for immediate release of Papuan Activist Victor Yeimo and calls for demilitarization of West Papua.

Whereas Indonesia has escalated war on Indigenous people in West Papua to silence the quest for self-determination, all the world’s attention has been on Palestine as the world closes its eyes on the ongoing systematic Human rights violations in West Papua.

We strongly condemn the brutal murder of three Papuan girls that have been killed in cold blood by Indonesian air strikes while in church.

Indonesia continues to reign in terror and operate with impunity in West Papua in full glare of the international media or the United Nations Security Council.

We call upon the African Union to flex its muscles and join the struggle for decolonization of West Papua one of a few Black Nations that are still colonized in 21st Century.

African leaders have a moral authority to put to an end the last vestiges of colonialism plaguing West Papua.

‘’In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.’’

Martin Luther King, Jr.
